A soap-free daily wash for oily, blemish-prone skin

Cleanance Cleansing Gel is the purifying, lightly foaming cleanser of Avène's Cleanance range, made for oily, combination and blemish-prone skin that is also sensitive. It lifts excess sebum, impurities, pollution particles and light make-up from the face, neck and upper back without drying the skin out, leaving it clean, fresh, purified and less shiny. It suits teenagers and adults, including contact lens wearers, and comes in a 100ml bottle, a 200ml tube and a 400ml pump bottle.

How the formula works

Three actions work together. A gentle, soap-free cleansing base at physiological pH removes impurities while respecting the skin's hydrolipidic film. Comedoclastin™, a plant-based active with patented properties from Pierre Fabre Research, extracted from milk thistle seeds, helps reduce excess sebum for a mattifying effect and acts on the formation of micro-comedones. Avène Thermal Spring Water brings soothing, softening and anti-irritating comfort. The biodegradable formula (OECD 301B) has a soft, light scent, very good skin and eye tolerance, and is made in France.

• Use daily, morning and/or evening.
• Apply to moistened skin of the face, neck or upper back.
• Work into a gentle lather with circular motions.
• Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
• If your tap water is hard, finish with a mist of Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray.
