Cleanance Mattifying Aqua-Gel is a multi-benefit moisturiser from Avène's Cleanance range for sensitive, combination to oily skin prone to blemishes. It pairs the freshness of a lotion with the care of an emulsion, so in a single step it moisturises, reduces shine and visibly tightens pores without drying the skin. It suits teenagers and adults, comes in a 50ml jar with a spatula, and is made in France.

How the formula works

Monolaurin, a sebum-regulating active, reduces excess sebum production so the skin looks less shiny and stays mattified through the day. Avène Thermal Spring Water brings its soothing properties, keeping the formula comfortable on sensitive skin, while humectants such as glycerin and propanediol support 24-hour hydration. The ultra-light, fresh gel texture absorbs quickly and leaves a matt finish.
