Avène Cleansing Foam, part of the brand's Essentials range, is a gentle, soap-free cleansing and make-up removing foam for normal to combination sensitive skin. It removes make-up from the face and eyes, lifts impurities and excess sebum and purifies the skin while preserving its natural balance, leaving it clear, soft and comfortable. The foam comes ready to use from a 150ml pump bottle made from 100% recycled plastic (pump and cap excluded), and is made in France.

A minimalist, high-tolerance formula

The formula holds 98% ingredients of natural origin, none of animal origin, and keeps to the ingredients it needs, at just the right amount for efficacy and tolerance. Mild plant-derived cleansing agents do the washing, Avène Thermal Spring Water — over 70% of the formula — soothes and rebalances, and glycerin with diglycerin keep the skin comfortable after rinsing. It contains no phenoxyethanol, PEG, EDTA, propylene glycol or mineral oils, has a delicate fragrance, and the biodegradable formula is made without heating.

• Use morning and evening.
