XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm is the balm texture of Avène's XeraCalm A.D range, made for very dry skin prone to atopy and to itching caused by dryness. It nourishes, helps restore the skin barrier and helps soothe the sensation of itching while rebalancing the skin's microbiome. It suits the whole family, from infants to adults, and comes in a 200ml pump tube.

Sterile Cosmetics® technology

Avène's Sterile Cosmetics® technology and a perfectly airtight pump tube keep the balm sterile throughout its use, so the formula contains no preservatives. It is fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and designed to minimise the risk of allergic reactions, with no ingredients of animal origin. The formula combines I-modulia®, a patented postbiotic derived from Avène Thermal Spring Water, with Cer-omega, lipids similar to those of the skin, and evening primrose oil. XeraCalm A.D care is classed as an "Emollient Plus" in the 2018 European Dermatology Forum guidelines. Made in France.

• Use 1 to 2 times a day on very dry areas of the face and body.
• Cleanse first with XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil.
• Place the balm in the palm of your hand, spread it between both hands, then apply it with the whole surface of your hands in wide strokes.
• Avoid rubbing the skin so as not to irritate it.
