Soap-Free Shower Oil for Dry to Atopic-Prone Skin with Niacinamide and D.A.F.
Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil is the body-and-face cleansing oil built for dry, very dry and atopic-prone skin. The soap-free oil turns into a soft milk on contact with water and rinses without leaving the tight, stripped feeling typical of foaming washes. Niacinamide supports the skin's own lipid synthesis, while the D.A.F. (Dermatological Advanced Formulation) sugar complex raises the skin's tolerance threshold for reactive, easily irritated skin.
Why Choose It?
- Niacinamide (Vitamin PP) supports the skin's own lipid synthesis for long-term barrier repair
- Patented D.A.F. sugar complex raises the tolerance threshold of reactive, easily irritated skin
- Soap-free oil format — turns into a soft milk on water contact, no stripped feeling after rinse
- Glycerin-rich base helps the skin hold hydration once the shower is over
- Suitable for face and body — including eczema-prone skin and the whole family
Best For
Dry, very dry and atopic-prone skin on face and body — including eczema-prone skin and shared family use. A good swap for traditional foaming body washes when the skin feels tight, itchy or reactive after showering.
Use in the shower or bath, on damp skin. Suitable for daily use on face and body.
- Wet the skin with lukewarm water — hot water aggravates dry, reactive skin.
- Dispense the shower oil into the palm or onto a soft cloth.
- Massage gently onto face and body — the oil turns into a soft milk on contact with water.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Pat (do not rub) dry with a soft towel to preserve the residual film.
Tips
- Keep showers short and lukewarm — Atoderm is built to repair, but hot water still strips lipids faster than any cleanser can replace them.
- Follow on still-damp skin with a nourishing body cream for dry skin to lock in the post-shower hydration.
- For atopic flare-ups, use as the only cleanser — skip scrubs, exfoliating washes and fragranced soaps in the same routine.
