Body Cream with Ammonium Lactate for Keratosis Pilaris and Ingrown Hairs
Noreva Kerapil Dermo-Regulating Care is a 75ml body cream from Noreva's Kerapil range, formulated for areas exposed to shaving and hair removal and for skin prone to keratosis pilaris — the rough, bumpy texture often called 'chicken skin'. The formula is built around Ammonium Lactate, a keratolytic active that gently exfoliates and helps unclog hair follicles, supported by Lactic Acid and a humectant-rich base of Glycerin, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride to keep skin soft rather than tight after application.
Why Choose It?
- Targets keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) — Ammonium Lactate and Lactic Acid loosen the rough, bumpy build-up around hair follicles
- Helps limit ingrown hairs in zones exposed to shaving and hair removal — legs, bikini line and beard area
- Smoothes and softens skin texture with a layered emollient phase of Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Palmitate and Octyldodecanol
- Moisturises with Glycerin as the lead humectant so exfoliation does not leave skin feeling tight
- 75ml tube size — body-cream format with everyday on-shower-edge usability
Best For
Sensitive, dry skin prone to keratosis pilaris (rough, bumpy texture on the upper arms, thighs or buttocks) and to ingrown hairs in zones exposed to regular shaving or hair removal — legs, bikini line and beard area. The keratolytic Ammonium Lactate plus Lactic Acid system is paired with a glycerin-and-emollient base, so it works on skin that needs gentle exfoliation without being stripped of comfort.
Use daily on clean, dry skin on areas prone to keratosis pilaris or ingrown hairs. Follow with a gentle Noreva body cream for dry skin if the rest of the body also needs additional moisture.
- Cleanse and pat the skin dry before application.
- Apply a small amount onto areas prone to keratosis pilaris, ingrown hairs or post-shaving roughness — typically legs, bikini line, beard area, upper arms or thighs.
- Massage in with circular motions until fully absorbed.
- Use once or twice daily as part of a regular body-care routine; results on rough, bumpy texture are progressive.
Tips
- Pair with a gentle, non-stripping body wash — harsh soaps can blunt the keratolytic work of the cream.
- On freshly shaved or waxed skin, allow any irritation to settle before applying; if discomfort persists, space out applications.
- Not intended for the face. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin.
Patch test before first full use if skin is reactive or you are layering with other exfoliating actives.
