Cica Cleansing Gel for Damaged Skin Barrier
A soap-free repairing cleansing gel for face and body, built around cica and Uriage thermal water. It lifts away daily grime while staying gentle on disturbed, sensitive skin that needs a calm, low-irritation wash.
Why Choose It?
- Soap-free wash: A gentle cleansing base that rinses clean without stripping or tightening the skin.
- Cica soothing: The signature cica element of the Bariéderm range, chosen for skin in a recovery phase.
- Uriage thermal water: Formulated on a water phase that uses Uriage's own thermal water for a softer feel on irritated areas.
- Face and body: One 200 ml bottle covers the whole routine and works for the whole family, including kids.
Best For
Damaged, sensitive or fragile skin that needs a calm daily wash rather than a foamy stripping cleanser. A good fit for recovery phases, post-procedure zones and routines shared across the whole family.
Use morning and evening as the cleansing step. After rinsing and patting dry, follow with Uriage Bariéderm face cream for sensitive skin from the same Bariéderm line to continue the repair routine.
- Wet the skin on face or body with lukewarm water.
- Dispense a small amount of gel into the palms and work into a light lather.
- Massage gently over the areas you want to cleanse, avoiding the immediate eye contour.
- Rinse thoroughly with water and pat the skin dry with a soft towel.
- Use morning and evening, or as needed during the day on body areas.
Tips
- Keep contact with the eyes to a minimum; if the gel reaches the eye area, rinse with plenty of water.
- For freshly tattooed or post-procedure skin, follow any aftercare instructions from your practitioner and apply with light pressure.
- Pair with a fragrance-free moisturiser from the same line to keep the routine consistent.
