Drying and Repairing Cu-Zn+ Spray for Weeping, Irritated Baby Skin
Uriage Bébé 1er Cu-Zn+ Spray is a no-rinse drying spray developed for the fragile skin of babies and young children on weeping, irritated and macerated areas — skin folds, nappy-rash zones and other damp spots. The formula pairs Copper Gluconate and Zinc Gluconate, which help limit the proliferation of bacteria on the skin, with Magnesium Aluminum Silicate (a smectite-class clay) to absorb excess humidity and dry the area. Uriage Thermal Spring Water, Phytosphingosine and Asiaticoside support a soothing, skin-respectful base. Texture is a fine spray; 97% of the ingredients are of natural origin, with no fragrance, alcohol or parabens, and the product is dermatologist and paediatrician tested.
Why Choose It?
- Copper Gluconate and Zinc Gluconate help limit the proliferation of bacteria on compromised skin
- Magnesium Aluminum Silicate (smectite-class clay) absorbs excess humidity from weeping and macerated areas
- Uriage Thermal Spring Water and Phytosphingosine soothe the surface of fragile baby skin
- Asiaticoside supports compromised skin areas in a skincare context
- No-rinse spray format — no rubbing on tender folds or nappy-rash zones
Best For
Babies and young children with weeping, irritated or macerated skin areas — nappy-rash zones, skin folds, neck creases and other damp spots that need to dry out and settle. Suitable for fragile and sensitive skin thanks to a fragrance-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free formula that is dermatologist and paediatrician tested. The spray format avoids rubbing on tender areas. For broader everyday face and body care on healthy baby skin, pair with a gentler daily option.
Use on clean, dry skin on weeping, irritated or macerated areas. For everyday gentle care between flare-ups, pair with a Uriage baby skincare product from the same line.
- Shake the bottle well before each use.
- Cleanse and gently pat dry the area to be treated.
- Hold the bottle around 15–20 cm from the skin and spray directly onto the affected area.
- Let the spray absorb and air-dry — no rinsing or rubbing needed.
- Reapply at each nappy change or as often as the area needs through the day.
Tips
- On nappy-rash areas, apply at each change until the skin has visibly settled.
- Inside skin folds (neck, thighs, behind the knees), spray onto a cotton pad first if direct spraying is awkward.
- Keep the bottle upright and store at room temperature.
Avoid spraying directly onto the face — close the eyes and mouth, or spray onto fingertips first. For external use only; do not spray onto broken or bleeding wounds without paediatric advice.
