Soap-free oil wash for face and body
Uriage Cleansing Oil is a soap-free wash for face and body that turns into a creamy lather under water. It rinses cleanly without the tight, stripped feel of classic soap, leaving skin soft and comfortable.
Why Choose It?
- Soap-free wash: Lathers like a shower gel but rinses without the tight, stripped feel of classic soap.
- Soft after-feel: A superfatted blend with plant-derived oils leaves a thin comfort layer on the skin after rinsing.
- Skin-friendly pH: Buffered close to the natural pH of skin so it stays comfortable on dry, sensitive areas.
- Face and body in one: A single bottle covers the whole shower routine, suitable for adults and children.
Best For
Sensitive, dry skin that finds standard soap or shower gel too stripping, and households that want a single gentle wash for both face and body, including children. Note the formula does contain fragrance, so if you avoid all fragrance pick an unscented wash instead.
Use daily in the shower or at the basin as a soap-free wash for face and body. After rinsing, follow with a rich moisturiser on dry zones — for example, Uriage soothing spray on damp skin.
- Wet the skin under warm (not hot) water.
- Dispense the oil into wet hands or onto a soft cloth — a small amount is enough as it lathers up quickly.
- Massage over face and body in light circular motions; the texture turns into a creamy lather on contact with water.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Pat dry with a soft towel and follow with a moisturiser while the skin is still slightly damp.
Tips
- Use lukewarm rather than hot water; hot water dries the skin barrier even with a mild wash.
- Patch test on the inner forearm before first full-body use if your skin is reactive or you avoid fragrance.
- Apply moisturiser within a couple of minutes of stepping out of the shower to lock in water.
