Rich Body Balm with Niacinamide and Soothing Botanicals for Very Dry Skin
Bioderma Atoderm PP Baume is a rich body balm for very dry, sensitive and itch-prone skin. It pairs vitamin PP (niacinamide) with oat-style soothing botanicals and a cushioning lipid blend to comfort tight, reactive areas day after day.
Why Choose It?
- Vitamin PP comfort: Niacinamide (vitamin PP) supports a calmer, more comfortable skin barrier on reactive body areas.
- Soothing botanical blend: A patented botanical and prebiotic-sugar complex helps quiet itching and discomfort on very dry, sensitive skin.
- Cushioned hydration: Glycerin paired with a lightweight lipid base softens tight, rough skin without a heavy or greasy finish.
- Made for dry, atopy-prone skin: Rich enough for shins, knees and elbows, gentle enough for daily repeat use on sensitive body skin.
Best For
Very dry, tight or itchy body skin, including atopy-prone skin that needs a daily balm rather than a light lotion. Rich enough for elbows, knees and shins, and gentle enough for sensitive, easily reactive skin year-round.
Apply daily to clean, dry body skin — morning and/or evening — focusing on the driest areas. For a fuller routine, pair with a Bioderma Atoderm gentle cleansing shower oil for dry skin in the shower so the balm goes onto already lipid-replenished skin.
- Shower or bathe with a gentle, non-stripping cleanser; pat skin dry rather than rubbing.
- Dispense a generous amount of balm into the palms.
- Warm briefly between hands and smooth over the body, working into the driest zones — shins, knees, elbows, forearms.
- Massage in circular motions until the balm is fully absorbed.
- Use morning and/or evening; reapply on individual dry patches during the day as needed.
Tips
- Apply within a few minutes of stepping out of the shower — slightly damp skin holds the humectants better than fully dry skin.
- On the face, switch to a dedicated facial moisturiser — a Bioderma face moisturiser for sensitive, reactive skin is better suited to the thinner skin of the face than a rich body balm.
- Patch test on the inner forearm before first use if your skin is highly reactive; discontinue if irritation occurs.
