Lifting Eye Cream with Evening Primrose Cell Extract and Ethyl Ximenynate
Onagrine Global Expertise Lifting Eye Care is a 15 ml eye-contour cream built around Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Leaf Cell Extract, supported by Ethyl Ximenynate — an ingredient commonly used in firmness- and contour-focused formulas. The texture is cushioned by Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil and Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, with Glycerin and Butylene Glycol carrying the hydration layer and Maris Aqua (Sea Water) rounding out the aqueous base. The cream is designed for the eye contour and can also be used on the lip contour. To extend the same lifting routine to the rest of the face, pair it with a lifting face cream for mature skin.
Why Choose It?
- Targets the eye contour with a cushioned cream texture suited to the thin skin around the eyes
- Evening Primrose (Oenothera Biennis) Leaf Cell Extract — the brand's hero botanical for redensifying the eye area and supporting the look of firmer eyelids
- Ethyl Ximenynate — ingredient commonly used in firmness- and contour-focused eye and face formulas
- Emollient base of Avocado Oil and Shea Butter for comfort on dry, tight-feeling eye contours
- Hydration layer of Glycerin, Butylene Glycol and Maris Aqua (Sea Water) for a smoother, more rested-looking finish
- Designed for the eye contour and also usable on the lip contour
Best For
Mature or tired-looking eye contours that want a cushioned, lifting-style eye cream — particularly skin where the eyelid area feels less firm, the contour looks crepey or dehydrated, or fine lines are starting to show. The cushioned emollient base suits dry and normal skin around the eyes; very oily eyelids may prefer a lighter gel format. The cream can also be used on the lip contour as a second application zone.
Use morning and evening on clean skin. After the eye cream has settled, layer the rest of the routine with a face cream for mature skin on the cheeks, forehead and neck.
- Cleanse and dry the face — the eye contour should be free of makeup and sunscreen before application.
- Dispense a small amount (about the size of a grain of rice per eye) onto the ring fingertip.
- Dab gently around the eye contour, working from the inner corner outward along the orbital bone; do not pull the skin.
- If desired, use any remaining product on the lip contour with the same gentle dabbing motion.
- Allow the cream to settle for a minute before layering a face moisturiser and, in the morning, an SPF.
Tips
- Use the ring finger — it applies the least pressure and is best suited to the thin skin around the eyes.
- Apply along the bone of the eye contour rather than directly on the lid to avoid migration into the eye.
- For very dry eye contours, warm the dose between fingertips first to soften the emollient base before dabbing it on.
