Gentle violet toning shampoo for blonde, grey and lightly highlighted hair
Milk Shake Silver Shine Light Shampoo is the milder version of the Z.one Concept Silver Shine line — formulated with about 50% less violet pigment than the original Silver Shine Shampoo. The lighter dose of Acid Violet 43 softens the cool-toning action so it suits natural blondes, grey or white hair, and lightly highlighted lengths that only need to nudge away subtle warm tones rather than fully cancel them. Organic berry extracts and hydrolyzed milk protein round out the formula for shine and softness.
Why Choose It?
- Lighter violet dose — neutralises subtle yellow tones without over-toning natural blonde, grey or white hair
- Acid Violet 43 deposits a thin pigment veil that visually cancels warm undertones at every wash
- Hydrolyzed milk protein helps condition the cuticle so the pigment lays down evenly
- Four organic berry extracts (blackberry, raspberry leaf, blueberry, strawberry) add antioxidant support
- Suitable for everyday or frequent use thanks to the reduced violet concentration
Best For
Natural blondes, ash blondes, grey and white hair, and lightly highlighted lengths that need to soften subtle warm tones without the full-strength violet hit of the original Silver Shine Shampoo. Also a good choice for anyone who tones frequently and finds heavier violet shampoos leaving the hair too cool.
Use 1–3 times a week in place of your regular shampoo, depending on how warm the hair pulls. Follow with a matching Milk Shake Silver Shine conditioner — toning shampoos are not formulated to moisturise on their own.
- Wet hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Distribute a coin-sized amount evenly over damp hair and work into a soft violet lather.
- Leave on for 1–3 minutes so the pigment can adhere to the cuticle — start shorter on porous or very light hair.
- Rinse fully with cool water to help seal the cuticle.
- Repeat if a stronger toning effect is needed, then follow with a conditioner or mask.
Tips
- On natural blonde or grey hair, alternate with your regular shampoo rather than using daily — the goal is a subtle correction, not a heavy violet cast.
- If the hair only needs a light refresh, mix a small amount of Silver Shine Light with your usual shampoo in the palm before applying.
- Always pair a toning wash with a moisture step — a hair mask for bleached hair once a week keeps lengths soft and easier to comb.
- Wear gloves if you tone often — violet pigment can stain fingertips and porous surfaces.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes — if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children.
